Sunday Cheat Meal - Spicy Chicken Spaghetti

๐Ÿ“ Ingredients

  • 50g Dry Spaghetti
  • 150g Chicken breast, diced
  • 1 Small Onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 Medium Tomato, chopped
  • 1 Medium Capsicum , sliced
  • 1 Green chili , finely chopped
  • ยฝ tsp Garlic powder
  • ยฝ tsp Pepper powder
  • ยฝ tsp Peri peri powder
  • 1 tsp Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Butter
  • Salt โ€“ to taste
  • 2 tbsp Del Monte spaghetti sauce

๐Ÿ“‹ Instructions

  1. 1 Marinate chicken with garlic powder, pepper powder, and salt.
  2. 2 In a pan, heat 1 tsp olive oil. Add chicken pieces and cook on medium-high till golden and juicy. Remove and set aside.
  3. 3 In the same pan, add 1tsp of butter, and sautรฉ onion, green chili, capsicum, and tomato till soft. Then add the Monte spaghetti sauce, and cook until fragrant.
  4. 4 Toss back the cooked chicken, and mix well, so the sauce and mixture completely covers the chicken.
  5. 5 Add in boiled spaghetti (50g) and mix well. Sprinkle peri peri powder as much as you need spice.
  6. 6 Mix and stir-fry on high heat for 1-2 minutes till everything is coated and slightly smoky
  7. 7 Serve hot, (Optional) - with a final dusting of pepper or chili flakes if you want to tease your tongue!
